AVAR (Association of Anti-Virus Asia Researchers) was founded in June 1998. The primary purpose of AVAR is to prevent the transmission and destroy of malicious software and to develop cooperative relationship with anti-malsoftware experts in Asia.
This conference will be a great opportunity to meet people in anti-virus and security field and realize new information and countermeasures on computer and network security. The conference will include two full days of 40 minute presentations. Submissions are invited on all subjects relevant to the anti-virus technologies and enterprise security.
Anti-virus technologies and corporate security
The following is a list of suggested topics. Please note that this list is not exhaustive. AVAR also invites you to send suggestions for any particular presenters in AVAR2012. Please send the nominations and details of why you recommend to 2012AVAR@tencent.com.

Please submit the following information to the AVAR2012 Organizing Committee
- Name and affiliation
- E-mail and mailing address
- Brief introduction on individual or introduction on qualification or experience
- Title of the thesis
- Abstract (maximum 500words)
Provided abstracts will be sent to the AVAR 2012 program committee members for appraising. The authors of the selected abstracts will be asked to submit final paper before the designated date.
Final thesis must be submitted no later than 31st August 2012. We will select a part of thesis for presentations of 40 minutes duration, including question time.
The review results and shortlisted papers will be announced on September 15th, 2012.
The official language of the conference is English and Chinese.
English or Chinese can be used by presenters.
Simultaneous interpretation for English, Chinese will be provided to audience.
The invited speakers will obtain the qualification of the 2-day conference, including the lunch on 13-14th and dinner on 13th November.
